About Bellus

Care built around the person, not around the service

We believe great care is about far more than meeting needs. It is about enabling people to live fulfilling, meaningful lives while preserving their dignity, independence and individuality.

We never begin by asking what service we provide

We ask: what does this person need to live well?

That question shapes everything. It influences how we assess, how we recruit, how we write support plans and how we measure whether any of it is working. It is also why we say no to placements we don't believe we can sustain — because the honest answer to that question is sometimes another provider.

Two specialist divisions. One shared purpose.

The answer looks different for an 86-year-old who wants to stay in the house she raised her family in, and for a 24-year-old moving into his first flat. So we built two specialist teams, held to the same standard.

Live-in & Home Care

Helping people remain independent in the place they know best.

Companionship, live-in care, dementia support, rehabilitation after a hospital stay and end-of-life care — personalised support that evolves as needs change.

Working together

Exceptional care is never delivered in isolation.

It is achieved through strong partnerships between the individual, their family, our staff and the wider professional network. We work collaboratively with:

  • Families and advocates
  • Local Authorities
  • Integrated Care Boards
  • Social Workers
  • Case Managers
  • Community Learning Disability Teams
  • Mental Health Services
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Speech & Language Therapists
  • Clinical Psychologists
  • Housing Providers

By bringing together different perspectives and expertise, we create coordinated support that reflects the whole person rather than simply responding to individual needs.

Our commitment to quality

Providing excellent care requires more than compassion. It requires strong leadership, clear governance, skilled staff and a culture of continuous improvement.

Safe

Rigorous governance and safeguarding.

Quality

Exceeding regulatory standards.

Training

Highly skilled, well-supported staff.

Continuous improvement

Learning and adapting constantly.

Accountability

Transparent and responsive care.

The people behind the care

Good care is delivered by people, and it is worth knowing who they are. Our leadership team is named, qualified and accountable — and you can speak to them.

Looking forward

As people's lives change, their support should evolve with them.

Whether we are helping someone remain independent at home or supporting them to thrive in specialist supported living, the ambition is the same: care that creates confidence, promotes independence and improves quality of life.

We don't simply provide services. We build lasting relationships, create opportunities and support people to live the lives they choose.
